The Slowest Week....

Yep... it was just rediculous. but it was still fun. I at least enjoyed myslef. =) We just had a ton of garbage happening this week with the cup that it was nearly impossible to work straight. let me explain the awesomeness that happened this week.

First off we had the game on tuesday. we are not allowed to work during the brazil games because everyone is basically just drowning them selves in beer during the games. sometimes we can work after but it certainly didnt work out on tuesday. So being adventurous we decided to leave right after the game and almost immediatly in the street people start shouting in portuguese. GO HOME GERMANY! they were mistaking us for being german just becuase we are white... haha! but it was just a couple of drunks on the street saying it so we didnt think much of it. with our intent to go follow up with one of our investigators we luckily find them just outside one of the bars.  so we go talk with them for a little while and while we chatting a couple of the people at the bar started walking past us and starting bumping into us. kinda like they wanted to start a fight. we wanted no part of that so we did as the drunks told us in the beginning. we went home.

so that destroyed tuesday. =) wednesday was normal. thursday we had zone meeting and also a suprise interview with the new president. he just came and decided that he wanted to get to know everyone in the zone so we had to wait for days after the meeting to go work. so that destroyed most of our thursday.

friday was alright too but saturday we had the other brazil game. which after the happenings of tuesday we didnt want to take any risks. so we stayed home the rest of that saturday after about 4:00. sun day was the final. of which we were invited to go to a different area to help one of my companions old investigators progress again. luckily that was a success but it left us at the end of the week looking like we had been doing nothing this week. yep... i was slightly upset.

So with more then half of our week taken away we are going to have to be awesome this week. it will be an adventure. but within much of this down time i was able to learn a new brazillian card game called Troco. which i will be showing all of you when i get home. its kinda like a strange type of poker that you can play with out haveing to bet anything. its really pretty cool. just be thou excited for when i get off the plain and show you the pure brazillian awesomeness that now runs through my veins... hee ho hee ho

well i think thats about all i got. however i´m not sure if you´ve sent a package yet but if you do I would first like to say that the last box was awesome. but sadly i´m already out of peanut butter... I would be eternally greatful if i happen to see another bottle of it =) PLUS I have been haveing this awful craving for chips ahoy... or just chocolate chip cookies in general. they dont have them here. and all the little cheap knock off brands i´ve seen here are all really lame. so if you could try to include those things. plus if you have time to send pictures that would be very welcome too.
