YEP i'm creative! I'm sure none of you have ever seen a subject bar like that!
So no i'm sorry i'm still not going to Brazil. The Hints of the Visa thing didnt turn out to be anything. I'm still in the Montana Area. =) Which is nice! i'm still learning a ton here! just not a new language. =) I'm not sure what the Montana number thing was about. sorry.
So Life is still good here in the Montana. =) So this week was zone conference and we all went up to Helena in Butte to participate in it. (which is no short drive by the way and with six stinky elders in a truck its not much better...) It was a good meeting were the president just comes and tells us about the new ideas he has for the mission and then we role play with each other to try and practice implementing them.
WELL!!!! there is a story that goes with this meeting. We split up into our different zones (there were two zones there) and we start working with each other. Well right when we split up into the different zones I spot a sister missionary who i've never seen before in the zone. I ask her where she was serving and she said that she was brand new and a visa waiter going to brazil. I told her I was also a visa waiter. she says thats cool and we respectively take our seats.
THEN!!!! to further implement the ideas of the President we Split up into small groups and somehow the sister that I previously talked too ends up in my group of 4 people. we get our instructions of what were supposed to pretend to teach people and to pick a partner who we want to work with. She immediately speaks up and makes the assignments for everyone. She says "Me and elder Cornwall will work together because we need to practice our Portuguese. and you guys over there will work together, good? GOOD!" ... =) .... so then we start teaching each other.
I tell you what I've never been more nervous to talk to a girl in my life. THEN!!!! we find out that she's going to be the newest addition to our district... good grief... At this point i'm about to flip a brick... I PROMISE THAT I'M STILL FOCUSED ON THE WORK!!!! but she is beautiful... BUT I'M STILL FOCOSED ON THE WORK!!!! gee... hahaha! god finally decided to have a little mercy when she put her in the complete opposite side of the district. haha!
So yea thats the biggest thing that happened to me this week. We Ran into a Couple families this week also who seem super promising!!! They Are both pretty much already mormon and live the standards and everything. They Love the missionaries and the Ward mission leader and actually had us over for dinner last night. It was Great!!!
Plus we've been getting in contact with a few people who live way on the outskirts of town which are way hard to get a hold of. So that was nice also!
Anyway! I'm still here in the Montana and i'll be sure to let you know when i'm going as soon as possible. I've once again heard a little news here and their but I honestly think its nothing more then just a distraction. I'm in montana and this is where my mission shall be until I am told other wise! I sincerely believe that God puts us here for a reason and that I'm still ment to make a difference in someones life here. =)
