Mr. Man made Monsters Mush

Hello family!!!
This week was pretty nice. For the second time in my mission I finaly have a companion that has less time then me. =) His name is Elder Miller. He´s from alaska and has a bunch of weird stories. The Validity of the stories sometimes seems questionable but he´s at least a good story teller. He´s super excited to be her on the mission. He likes to have fun but at least he kinda knows when enough is enough. he´s a really good teacher but he had stayed in california waiting for a visa for about 6 months. He has about 5 months here in brazil and his portuguese is understandable but he still has some room to improve. The new ZL is Elder Ryan. (once again we live with 3 americans and Lima) he´s a great guy and only has 9 months on the mission. he´s pretty much a kick butt elder. I was able to go on a division with him yesterday and i love the way he taught.
As for stories for the week we had a day that was full of adventure. the biggest of all this adventures was with a lesson we had with a drunk. We´ve been teaching this man named Gileno for about 4 months now and a little while ago we found his son home. He was drunk beyand all reason but was telling he wanted to change his life. we figured sure we´ll just leave a scripture with him and call it good for the day. we had brought a member with us to help us teach and he was an incredibly nice guy and had a lot more faith in the guy than i did. so he started asking how it was that he could help him improve his life. he found that the oven they were using was far sub par. and our member had an extra oven to give him. he offered the oven and that was pretty much game over. the man wanted nothing more than to talk about how he could get that oven in his house. he even started following us to the members house get the oven and carry it back on foot. We figured he had other plans than to use the oven for its intended purpose and so we had to practically force him into the store to buy some food and then just send him home. while in the store he tried to get us to buy a bunch of other garbage such as suger, Cigarretes and other things. We ended up getting him Rice Beans and some Kus Kus. (weird corn meal cake stuff...) but finally we were able to send him home. (rather unsatisfied.)
thats about all the time i got to write. Sounds like you guys are just partying till your purple every day and not including me in any of this crazyness. haha! but its awesome to here the stories. you guys will just have to do that much of a cooler welcome home party for me when i get back. =) till next week.! buh bye now!
