Feliz Aniversario Kyle e Jodi

So guess what kyle! remember when you turned twenty? and people said that you were finally old and broken and what not? well that was 7  years ago... how does that make you feel. hee ho hee ho hee ho! way to be old! oh and I almost forgot about jodi! can you believe that you have been able to go and rent your own beautiful camarro for a day? in all honesty I dont remember if you get that privaledge when your 25 or  26. you should go rent one for a day, take it to work and then send me a picture of you and chuck in the front seat with kyle sitting in the back like a bum! (I still love you kyle I promise!)

So today I finally got the chance to clean the house this P-day. It was kinda rediculous how messy it had gotten. we were able to fix up a lot of junk. its amazing when you find things with dates on from 2009 that still havent been thrown out... four years of no one going threw old beat up records is kinda rediculous wouldn´t you say? but its cool. thanks to the self-centered praise seeking elder Cornwall we were able to clean up the junk and leave it looking good for when the Pres comes. =)

This week was also my first chance to do a  baptismal interview. it was certainly interesting being on the other side for once. I always remember the bishop doing interviews for me with things like temple recommend interviews and the biannual "how are you doing" interview. Being the person interviewing was pretty neat actually. She was a woman named rosi and she was super prepared to be baptized. when the invastigator starts saying that its what they want more then anything thats when you know that they are prepared. she was baptized on saturday and was comfirmed yesterday.

This week we also had to do divisions for a couple days because elder Gross had to go to maceio to renew his Visa. so I got to spend the day with an elder named Elder Lira. He was way funny. Hes from São paulo and has been on the mission for about 3 months now. whats funny is he teaches like he´s been on the mission about a year now. he was using amazing scriptures and was connecting with all the investigators whom he had never seen. It was a blast working with him this week. it was a six hour ride up to maceio and so Elder Gross left tuesday afternoon and got back late wednesday night.

Also I have some pretty cool news. we have this family that we are working with who is way awesome. the wife is the person most interested in the gospel and can see perfectly who it will unite the family. she is making plans to get married to her husband after 20 years of living together. she is trying to help her daughter be baptized while she is waiting for the marriage. she truly has gotten sight of how the gospel can help the family be more united. its awesome to see the lords hand working in the lives of other people.

ok i think thats all I got to say this week! Don´t get too old while i´m gone! buhbye everybody!

Elder Cornwall
